SEAN DYCHE and Dean Smith are favourites to become England’s next permanent manager, according to Betfair.
But there are several of other candidates in the running with Eddie Howe, Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard all in contention to succeed Gareth Southgate.

Southgate’s current deal expires after the Qatar World Cup in December 2022.
But it’s unclear whether the 51-year-old will extend his contract beyond that point.
The England manager confirmed that he’s still deliberating and will discuss the matter with the FA soon.
He said: “I said last month that I had asked to put that further back into the autumn, really, as I just wanted to focus on these games and, also, to give the time to make the right decision.
“After the Euros there is a huge amount of emotion and fatigue from going through a tournament like that.
“I want to make sure that I am making the right decisions for the right reasons. We have happily parked that for the time being.
