Extremely Pleased With This Purchase!Having used three pedal exercisers over the past year for total knee replacement surgeries on both knees, I can say without a doubt that the Ancheer pedal exerciser is the best available for my needs. A previous pedal exerciser was very good for several months. However, I pedal long and hard for knee strengthening and broke the medal flywheel on the unit! Tried to replace it with another product and that was a total waste of money. I’ve now had the Ancheer unit for about a month and this product is exactly what I need to regain agility, mobility, strength and stamina. The Ancheer pedal exerciser arrived as scheduled, was easy to assemble even for me (75 yr. old female) and works great for my home cycling between PT sessions at the rehab facility. I use it for 20 mins. at a time for about two or three sessions each day. And, it’s easy to adjust the tension so you feel like you are getting a good workout. Yes, the unit is a little heavier (18 lbs.) than others I’ve had. But, that’s what I like about it as it doesn’t shift or move at all on the low pile rug where I use it. (For those who have commented about it being too heavy to move around, may I suggest that you find a location where it can stay put so either the senior or a family member doesn’t have to move it back and forth.) The tension adjustment wheel is a little tight to turn, but that makes it secure for the actual tension you want to use. . .no shifting whatsoever. The pedals were easy to attach with the enclosed tool. I can’t speak to any comments regarding switching the pedals from foot to hand types as I will only use it for feet so won’t encounter any problems there. Also, I don’t even use the pedal straps as the grid on the pedals is large, firm and deep enough that my slippers or shoes don’t shift at all. As for the digital readout, that’s not anything I can address either as I don’t use it since I only cycle for timed sessions and a kitchen timer works just as well for my personal needs. I don’t even have any batteries in the digital readout! Oh, and did I mention just how quiet. . .almost completely silent. . .the unit is?After going through two other pedal exercisers which were more affordable, I decided to splurge on the Ancheer unit and I’m so glad I did. It is well worth the higher cost for such a great floor unit pedal exerciser product. Give it a try and I think you will find it as great a buy for the price as I have.

Bad Pedal Attachment DesignPros: The unit is super-quiet. Noise is about the same as the old DeskCycle I have in another office.Display is large enough to read easily so long as there’s some ambient life.Assembly was simple. 4 bolts and 2 pedals. Comes with a tool for assembly if you don’t have adjustable or metric wrenches (13 and 15 mm)Resistance provides a nice range from very easy to reasonably hard. For a home-based and desk-based unit, its more than sufficient.Cons: The pedals (both of them) unscrewed during first day of use. This seems to be an issue with backpedal motion. One pedal came off (the first time…I started checking them every 5-10 minutes after that) and partially stripped the first couple threads on the pedal arm. Metal shavings came off it. I tightened these pretty hard when I assembled it, and did so even tighter after they both came loose. I’m not exactly a weakling either, so these came loose very quickly after being tightened down hard. For someone elderly or who is rehabbing upper body with this, keeping the pedals on could be a real issue. There’s enough room for a locking nut, but the shaft on the pedals is too short. If the pedal design was changed to accommodate a locking nut, this would alleviate the issue. Apparently this is common enough of a problem that the troubleshooting and warranty state they will replace one pedal arm free while under warranty (one year warranty). This does make the unit less feasible if you need to change the pedals from the foot to hand pedals. I’m just using this as a bike, but if you’re needing to switch out, I don’t think the pedal arms will hold up to a lot of swapping. The troubleshooting seems to suggest “applying the pedal threads”, which I’m assuming is using something like loc-tite. Will try it and see how it goes. That being said, if the loc-tite doesn’t work, this is going back.

Sturdy. Not Too Heavy. Magnetic Flywheel Provides Smooth Realistic Peddle Feel!So far sturdy easy to use peddler. Needed for a knee surgery to keep knee active. The peddle throw range of course is not the same as an actual cycler but adequate for an under-the-table model. It has a decent clearance from off the floor compared to many. And for average height (5′ 10″) this peddler provides enough of a challenge to get cardio going! I can position it closer to my chair for a different work out feel more applied to upper thighs/ deeper knee bend. This is one of the better peddlers available!! The magnetic flywheel provides a VERY smooth realistic peddle feel! Nice built-in handle to move as needed. The basic model provides a decent workout especially for the home bound – don’t bother with the bluetooth version! This peddler easy to assemble – youtube videos available. The only downside that it uses kilometers instead of miles in the progress display!

Good machine. Slow, unhelpful customer service.I’ve used this for a couple weeks now. Appears to be a well constructed, solid machine. The weight of it and the rubber grips on the bottom work very well for holding it in place during use. Very smooth pedaling and completely quiet too. I really like it!The customer service let’s the big end drag though. It says they will answer questions within 24 hours. In my experience it’s taken several days, twice, with no actual answer because they said they can’t verify the purchase with Amazons order number so they can’t answer the question…which was very simple: “Are the speed and distance measurements in metric or imperial?” It’s not anywhere in the limited manual that it comes with.It is good piece of equipment, especially for the price but if you get it from Amazon, don’t expect any help from customer service.

Helps with recovery after knee replacementGood value for the money the machine did not slip or slide when placed on a rug. Had eight tension locations can tget a work out by using them.

who could benefit from thisI bought this for my elderly mother who has a bad shoulder and to strenghthen her legs. It works well. It is too heavy for her to move on her own so I need to set it up for her. She is petite and she doesn’t need to change the foot and hand pedals. I have used it, too and I’m 5’6 at 142 lbs.

Best Exercise InvestmentI use this at my desk every day at work. The bad parts are that it is raised up high enough that my knees hit my desk if I have it completely under my desk. Also if I am on a higher resistance it moves, but I just hook my office chair around one of the feet and it stays. The little feet keep falling off and I have to put them back on but only once a day. This is exactly what I was looking for though! Something to keep my legs moving and give me a little exercise while I’m at work. I wish it wasn’t so expensive but you get what you paid for for sure!

It was a great investmentThis is a sturdy product and feels like commercial grade quality. The resistance selection knob works but does not turn smoothly. It is very quiet during use and can definitely help office worker get in some moderate calisthenics while sitting at a desk for long periods of time.It was a great investment.

Great compact machine, I love it.Great machine! Compact, comfortable, and silent (not just quiet). I enjoy using it multiple times a day for a few mins while on the phone. I sincerely wish I had thought to buy this sooner. I highly recommend this without reservation. The strap in the photo comes with the machine and is used to loop around the base of your chair if your chair has wheels (prevents you from pushing away from the machine while using it). They thought this through quite well.

Very Happy With This ProductUse it for 10-15 minutes a couple of times a day. Weather is hot and humid outside so needed something I could use while sequestered in the house. Easy to put together. Heavy and solid. Pedaling is smooth in both various tensions. Includes a strap to attach to the chair so the exerciser does not move while pedaling. Great alternative to an exercise bike. Selected this unit based on the good reviews and I have not been disappointed.
