Good quality.I’m an ex powerlifter and needed barbell for my garage . This barbell meets all my expectations ( for this price ) quality, finish and spinning. Only thing that I would change is a color of the shaft, after using few times on white framed bench press it’s covered with white paint . Otherwise it’s perfect for this price and exceeded my expectations.

Impressive to the specs barbell!Only had it for 12 hours and ready to review.This was a spur of the moment purchase as always wanted to add a full sized barbell to my home gym for the days I did not workout at the gym or else where. There a quiet a few on Amazon and after looking at the top 20 options I went with this one due to the overall reviews, good specs, true to weight and size, and overall construction.Shipping was perfect. Came in a 7ft tube right to the door and easy to take out and use right away.Fair warning. Like any metal that is machined, there might be a few lingering metal flakes that could be sharp and cause splinters. Mine had plenty of machine oil/grease that is used to protect the bar. I highly recommend grabbing some high quality cleaning wipes and wiping the bar down until it drys “flat black” with no shine. Your hands will have a little freeze smell for the first few lifts but it will go away in time. You could wear gloves, however, soap and water removes it.I also recommendOther then that minor bit, the bar is to spec weight and size, smooth bearings, fit all my 2” plates, and love the black coated bark over my chrome/steel versions.

Good bar overallOverall this is a good well-made bar. However, I had to return it because I disliked the grooves on the sleeves. It was causing harsh vibration when I would slide weight plates on the sleeve. I guess most of these bars come with grooved sleeves nowadays. Maybe because people don’t use clips any more either so the grooves are for safety? I had to look around quite a bit to find one with smooth sleeves but finally found one.

Excellent needle bearing bar with great spin and quality constructionI picked up an Amazon warehouse “Used like new” bar for about $40 off and it came in almost new condition with the exception of a few chips in the chrome. The bar has 4 needle bearings and a brass bushing on each side and they spin really well. The bar feels solid and works well with Lock Jaw clamps. The only thing I would like on this is more aggressive knurling. Overall, this bar is an outstanding value that would cost significantly more if it was made by Rogue.
