Good material, easy to controlThis is a prize I bought for my daughter and she loves it. The advantage of this Electric Scooter is that the material is very good. But this Electric Scooter is a little taller for my daughter, and very faster in the beginning, so my daughter can’t use it yet, but my husband and I have used it, and we feel that this Electric Scooter after starting up for a while，the ride is smooth and easily control.

Perfect for an 8 year oldWe’ve had this for about 3 months now. It works awesome and has provided endless entertainment for my son. My son is 4’3” and 67lbs for reference. He goes fast but not fast to the point that he can’t control it. Some of the bad reviews regarding it being loud and not holding a charge made me skeptical but after literal hours of comparing electric scooters I’m glad we got this one. Our scooter is actually extremely quiet and we’ve had no issues with holding a charge.

Cool and Cute ScooterVery cool and cute scooter. Easy to ride on and wide wheels make balancing simple for the new riders. My daughter loves it because of its color and light-weighted and soft handlebars. It can be used as a electronically scooter or kick scooter which is awesome.

Stopped working after 6 months (update: Gotrax replaced out of warranty period)Original Review: I’ve seen a few reviews mention the same issues regarding the fact that the scooter can stop working, so I’ll add mine as well. The scooter stopped working/charging after 6 months. It was charged a total of ~20 times over that 6 month period.Other than that the scooter is great, but I would not recommend buying one until they fix whatever issues they have.Update 9/22/22. – Gotrax reached out to me an replace the scooter outside of warranty period free of charge. Revising from 1 to 4 stars due to their response. I will no motor the new scooter and update again if there are any issues with the new scooter.

Does not hold charge (Updated 10/4/2022)I bought this scooter for my son’s birthday the first one worked for one day and then it would not charge so I returned it and the second one did the same thing. I don’t know if it’s the product or if it’s the actual charging unit but I will not buy this product again.*** Company reached out personally and sent my son another scooter at no charge. We have had no issues at current time with the replacement. I updated the review to 4 stars.****

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! ***Updated rating 9/13***UPDATE 9/13/22: Gotrax reached out directly and has since sent a replacement scooter. Updating the rating to a 4-star on my review to reflect the customer service that I received after my original review.***DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!!! I am so disappointed at the lifespan of this scooter. It worked great for a few months, but just stopped working/charging. I reached out to the company and they basically told me the scooter was “out of warranty “ and I would need to purchase a new $50 battery/controller from their website. This is so ridiculous! Our scooter is 7 mo old. Definitely expected it to last longer than this! I will never buy another Gotrax product. Lousy workmanship, lousy product and little to no customer service. Don’t waste your money.

Good ScooterOur daughter has had the scooter for 9 months and we have not had any issues. She regularly accompanies us on 30-40 minute (1.5-2 mile) walks around the neighborhood with no problems. I generally, charge it when we get back because I do not know how long the battery really lasts and do not want it to die on the next walk.

Good customer serviceUPDATE: After posting my review, customer service reached out to me and replaced the scooter even though the warranty had passed. They sent me the new one with a return label to send yhe old scooter back. Hopefully this one lasts.Bought for my 10 year old in September of 2021. Charged fine the first time and road great. He parked it through winter and just took it out to use for the 2nd time and it will not charge. Too late for a return so it’s useless!
