10 reviews for Nitecore TM10K Tiny Monster 10,000 Lumen Burst Rechargeable Flashlight with LumenTac Battery Organizer

A tiny powerhouse for ten seconds. If you want 10,000 lumens for ten seconds in a very small package this baby delivers. If you don’t need that ability you can do just as well much cheaper.

Huge Potential But With Design FlawsWhat I like about it:1) Compact size and good form factor – similar length as a large smart phone makes it almost an EDC flashlight2) It is very bright and makes an excellent flood light3) USB C with QuickCharge allows for fast recharge. With about 18W of charging power, most of the battery can be recharged in about 30-45 min.4) OLED screen is handyWhat I didn’t like about it:1) Light overheats quite often and throttles down the brightness. Anything over 1000lm, after 5min throttling will occur.2) The beam distance is mediocre, esp. ~90m for 1000lm3) The 10,000lm is kind of gimmicky since it only works for 7 sec. Might be useful for signalling and blinding people if needed.4) 2000lm for high mode isn’t that bright compared to other flashlights, probably has to do since the light overheats quickly5) Irreplaceable battery is questionable long term as most people keep their flashlights for years, by then the battery degradation is high.6) No strobe or SOS mode7) Cannot use flashlight when charging via USB (no USB charge pass-through)While the irreplaceable battery and low beam distance (which is expected for this size) is manageable, the biggest issue I had is with the heat and throttling. If there was more metal and better heat dissipation, I would make this light better and more usable.

Not drop resistantLoved the light! Was super bright and sleek in design but two fatal flaws. The turbo mode button broke within 1 day and the light fell from my duty belt at work and it absolutely was demolished and died instantly. Loved the light but it could not handle the drop

Not drop resistant, would not charge after a 5 ft. Drop. Not drop resistant.

Best flashlight I’ve ever owned!I’ve purchased $300 Wicked Laser (supposedly the brightest) flashlights and everything in between and nothing compares to these NiteCore products. Bang for your buck the best flashlight around! I feel like I could become a sales rep for them based upon how many I have sold for them after I showed to my friends. It’s small, compact and battery life is amazing vs other said products as mentioned above literally due after two hours of use. When you hit the button that gives you the 10k lumen, it’s like the sun just came out and lit up the whole neighborhood. Crazy good technology and hats off to NiteCore for these products.

  6. C. Bigler

Extremely bright light, beam not very focused. This little guy is awesome! I have a TM26 and it’s a great flashlight. The TM10K is amazing. I love the size and battery life. The light output is phenomenal. The only thing I don’t really like is the throw of the light. It’s a very wide beam; I’d like to see something this powerful have a bit more focus. But if you want a compact torch that can put out a wall of light, this is for you.

Disappointing.Arrived with the Turbo button defective. Thankfully Turbo mode can still be accessed by the mode button. Also, this product is advertised as 10k Lumen flashlight, which is true…….for 7 seconds. You see, in the very fine print hidden in all the text you’ll find that the 10k Lumen intensity only lasts for 7 pathetic seconds. Try it for any longer and it will get too hot to hold in your hand. It’s really a 1k or 2k Lumen flashlight with a burst of 10k every once in a while, depending on how fast it cools down.Think I’ll stick to my TM28.

CalientaLa luz de 10,000 lúmenes dura pocos segundos y la lampara se pone muy caliente al punto de que ai la tienes por unos minutos encendida sientes que te quema la mano
