Pulsar Trail LRF Thermal Riflescope

Thermal technology. Integrated Laser Rangefinder

The Trail LRF features an integrated laser rangefinder capable of capturing and displaying target distances accurately, within ±1 m, up to 1000 meters. The laser rangefinder can take measurements in two modes: Single Time Measurement and Scanning. Scanning mode allows the user to adjust quickly to changing distances for better shot placement

The Trail LRF thermal riflescope delivers all-night precision heat detection for demanding uses up to 1475 yards away. Its 384 x288 sensor, combined with a variable 2.1-8.4x magnification provides a richly contrasted wide field of view and quick target acquisition for precise shot placement. Thirteen useful variable electronic reticles ensure repeatable, accurate performance.

Integrated Laser Rangefinder

Precision shooting begins with knowing the distance to your target. The Trail LRF features an integrated laser rangefinder capable of capturing and displaying target distances accurately, within ±1 m, up to 1000 meters.

Variable magnification

Trail models include variable magnification, up to 8x depending on model, and feature both 2x step-up and smooth, graduated magnification for a truly optimum, customized field of view.

Picture-in-Picture mode

Picture-in-Picture” function provides a user with a possibility to display additional image region on the screen which contains several times magnified image (depending on the shooter’s choice) of a target and reticle. This allows seeing a more detailed image in the aiming area. Additional region (precise aiming frame) is situated in the top center part of the screen above the reticle. Taking just 1/10 of the total screen area additional image region allows simultaneous use of total field of view for observation

High image frequency

At a high refresh rate of 50Hz, the Trail provides comfortable viewing throughout dynamic, rapid motion.

Detection distance up to 1800 m

Depending on model, Trail thermal sights detect big-game-size heat signatures up to 1800 meters away.

Mobile-Friendly with Remote Control and Live Internet Streaming

The free Stream Vision App, compatible with both Android and iOS systems, allows users to connect personal smartphones and tablets to Trail riflescopes featuring onboard Wi-Fi. When connected, Stream Vision allows users to stream video and images in real time to YouTube, transfer files, update important firmware and control the optic remotely.

Fully waterproof

IPX7 waterproof-rated protection ensures the Trail performs perfectly in wet weather, even during intense rain, snowfall and submersion in 3 ft. of water for up to 30 min. (IEC 60529).

Built-In Video & Sound Recording

Capturing still images and video is seamless with the Trail’s built-in video recorder. Image and video content is stored internally and can be easily transferred to PC/laptop via wired connection or Wi-Fi. The video recorder can be set to a recoil-activated capture mode just in case the shooter forgets to press the REC button in the excitement of the moment.

It’s nice to do your kill’n at night. The media could not be loaded.

Definitely expensive. But, this scope is GREAT! No, I wasn’t hunting deer at night. Was looking for pigs. The one shot zero WORKS amazingly well! LOVE my Pulsar thermal scope!

  2. Matt W.

Awesome thermal scopeThe media could not be loaded.

Really awesome scope. Built in rangefinder makes it nice because it’s easy to lose your sense of distance through it. Clear enough to make out individual trees at over 500 yards depending on temp/weather. Amazing how much easier detection is over night vision.

  3. Bikestore

A must own if you’re a hunter!Best Thermal for the price!! You can see very well in pitch bark. Perfect for hog hunting or coyotes! You can even see birds in the trees. Very cool!!!

  4. John C.

Wow-AmazingI was already content with my original Trail but the Trail 2 is awesome. The different color monochromes including rainbow really are clear and crisp. I can’t wait to get it mounted and on the range.

You will love itBought this thru a fellow police officer, not thru Amazon. All I can say is the lazer range finder is what I had to have! If you hunt places you are not familiar enough to know your landmarks for distancing purposes, the LRF is a godsend! No more missed shots because you guessed the wrong distance. It is a solid unit and does it’s job well. The things I’m not crazy about is that I haven’t been able to learn how to down load directly to my iPad so I can look at what happened right after the shot. I have to wait till I get home and download to my computer. I’m sure this is user error, none the less it is frustrating. Battery life is less than advertised, but I run a power bank. Word of advise that was told to me and has been correct. “ Never look thru a scope you can’t afford!” After looking thru this scope I sold a CanAm Maverick to get the scope, Bobro QD mount and a tripod set up! Now I can’t get to half the places I used to be able to go and hunt from! Lol, love and learn and buy once/Cry once!

Excellent thermal, would recommend it. I would buy again.Best part about it is the external battery. Do not get suckered into buying a FLIR, they do not stand behind their products.
