Arrived damagedThis safe appears to be pretty good value for the money. Having read other reviews regarding damage upon arrival I was relieved to find that the outer box was clean and without dents or scrapes. As luck would have it though, the locking lever was broken and appears to be made of die cast. I called customer service and they’re sending a replacement as well as instructions on how to go about installing it. Hopefully this is the easier route as opposed to returning the whole safe and possibly receiving another damaged one. We’ll see.

Too many rotations to unlock it…Too many rotations to unlock it… 3 times past zero, then 2 times past the first number, then the number, then 1 time past the next number, then the number. I wish the digital versions weighed more. I wanted a heavy one that a thief couldn’t easily walk away with like most of the safes on here. Only this dial version weighed a lot.

It sat there for several days until I could find 2 good men to carry it to my door. It would have been nice if the delivery drivers delivered it the whole way.

Best safe, trustworthy name, good qualityI went with Sentry after weeks of scrolling through other brands. I decided on this one due to being medium sized and quite heavy. Not allowed to bolt to floor in apartment so the weight made it desirable so that its not easily carried and medium sized enough where it would be awkward to carry down 2 flights of stairs if stolen even with 2 people. it has a high fire proof and waterproof rating for a good amount of time under super hot conditions or submerged for long period. Follow instructions carefully the first time you use the combination lock. It is airtight so its recommended to put the moisture pack inside, replace every few months, and open the safe at least once a month to air out. I am very pleased with this. Please note that top shelf is thin and flimsy so no heavy items should go up there.

DentedThe front had a big dent like it has been dropped before.The unlock handle also feels a bit cheap, but other then that it seems like good quality.Other then that it seems good quality. I had no issues opening it, and it has decent amount of room inside. I’m just a bit thrown off by the dent in the front edge. But as long as it’s functional then I’m fine with it. It just needs to keep people out.It’s also heavy for it’s size, so with that and being lag bolted down, I think it should serve it’s purpose.
