Description
Lightweight & compact, the RM 2 Laser Weapon-Mounted Tactical Light features a 6000 series machined aircraft aluminum with type II mil-spec anodized finish. The light source is a white LED that produces a very bright 1000 lumens; 10,000 candelas with a 200m beam. The 69488 has a run time of 1.5 hours ( LED only or LED/Laser) There is a user-enabled strobe function that can run up to 3 hours. The laser only can run up to 60 hours of regulated output with a 640-600nm red laser. The 69488 also features a multi-function, push-button tactical tail switch. Quick press to activate the constant on operation and press and hold for momentary operation. Double-tap either switch within 1/4 second to activate the strobe functionality. Three-position mode selector switch lets you use Laser only, LED Illumination only, or both. The TLR 2 Laser Tactical Light is powered by two CR123A lithium batteries that are included.

Great light, but think twice about the laserThe laser is zerod using ARCS rather than straight line left-right / up-down movements. As a result, you have to go back and forth to find the magic point that the two axes meet up with your zero point. Very flakey. Also, not a fault of the product, the laser sits HIGH and will almost always be mounted on the side of a rail system, As a result, the beam will be traversing from right to left or left to right and will require a “Hold Left or Right” for non zerod distances. Up and down holdovers are of course normal, but for defensive purposes still mainly allow hits on target. Left to right, not so much. Bottom line is that the laser, regardless of where it’s mounted, will be offset form the bore significantly.

ExcellentExcellent light/laser! I’d by this again and may well do so for another application. Light is super bright. Laser is spot on. So spot on it over laps my red dot Mounts well. I’d recommend the pressure switch as an add on. Well thought out and is so easy to switch between the main modes. Very low profile and mounts securely.

Amazing.Tight mount, doesn’t take up too much space on picatanny rail. Stupid bright, and laser stayed zero from one range day to the next. Only problem I have is the button, but that’s more of a personal problem, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it, especially if bought with a separate activation switch, which was easier to instal into this light than the part that holds it. Don’t know too much on the battery life due to lack of long-time use, but haven’t had any issues with the better itself.Would recommend if looking for high-end compromise of price vs. brightness/quality.

Light good/ laser mehThe light worked well. I tried mounting at the 12 o’clock but interferes with optic picture (Sig Romeo 5 w/ co-witness risers). The laser is why rating is 3 stars. I knew buying it wouldn’t be the greatest but I wasn’t able to zero at all. The up/down screw didn’t budge and left/right only moved left. I’ve returned and reorder, will update after new light comes in.

Excellent light laser combo for certain rail set-ups.Excellent form factor, super clicky button, easy to use mode switch. Mounting this on top (upside down) on a rail works great, provided you use a riser for your optic. Mounting under barrel would work great, but side mount would be questionable with the laser to ensure proper zeroing. Make sure you lock the screw down nice and tight before you try to zero the laser.

Nice Light / Laser is QuestionableI gave this a 3 star rating because the laser is not designed for a 3 or 9 o’clock mounting which is preferred for lights. There is not enough adjustment in the laser to zero / co-witness at these positions. For tactical shooters, this is a huge flaw in the design. With that said, the light/laser combo is a good idea just poorly executed. The mode selector is also really nice. Again, if the light had more adjustment in the laser it would get all 5 stars and be worth the money.
