The Streamlight survivor LED is a lightweight, hand-held light with right angle head designed for use in hazardous locations. The light offers microprocessor controlled high and low lighting modes and emergency flash mode. It is the brightest, right-angle LED flashlight in the World. The C4 LED will never break or burn out, it’ll never have to be replaced. This ultra-bright, C4 LED has a 50,000 hour life with 21,000 candela and 100-Lumen. There is no need for spare bulb. The deep-dish, parabolic beam generator creates a long-range (500 feet), focused beam and ample side lighting for multi-use applications. It’s weatherproof, microprocessor controlled push button switch is raised to make it easy to use with gloves. The three position switch (high, low and locator strobe) is a raised push button switch recessed in a polymer housing for protection. The Streamlight survivor LED will run up to three hours on high beam and up to six hours on low beam. It is dual power sourced: rechargeable nickel cadmium battery pack or four AA Alkaline batteries. No tools are needed to change batteries. The survivor LED rechargeable model fits existing survivor charging units. It’s rugged nylon polymer body is virtually indestructible and passes the 30-foot drop test. It’s O-ring sealed for water resistance. The newly redesigned clip doesn’t deform like metal clips! The Streamlight Survivor is an intrinsically safe lightweight, hand-held flashlight with right-angle head designed for use in hazardous locations. This light features a reduced low-profile bezel length to minimize snag hazards and doesn’t interfere with gear and equipment. An updated clip design provides better attachment to turnout gear while the reinforced D-ring allows the light to hang forward consistently. A large rubber dome push button actuator provides easy operation, even when wearing heavy gloves, to access to microprocessor controlled high and low intensity modes, emergency flash, and moonlight mode.

Absolutely love this.Was in a completely smoke filled room with this and my helmet light. You turn on the helmet light and you are just blind. I turned this thing on and I could see (Not very far granted) but much better than any other type of light. The lenses def do help in the smoke so make sure you install them if you are a structure fighter.

I can see you nowThese lights are wonderful. It came with rechargeable batteries and an extra battery case which was empty but at least I have a spare. The light is super bright and it has three functions, normal brightness, dim, and it flashes; yup it flashes a bright strobe so people can notice you better. If you want a tough light that can take some punishment you won’t go wrong with this purchase.

Perfect for my needsThis flashlight is really built well and shines a super bright light. My primary use is for tracking at night and proved to be much better than a traditional flashlight or cap mounted headlight when tracking in woodlands when it’s pitch dark.
