Great for the price pointI’ve been using the machine for three months now and I’m pretty happy with it. It is a simple rowing machine, nothing fancy about it, but it gets the job done. I live in a small house with roommates and this machine fits in my room well. It is a little hard for me to move around, but I have never had such a hard time with it that it keeps me from working out. It’s not the stupidest machine, and for me that’s fine since I have a petite frame, but if you are a large dude or something this may not be great for you. For where I am in life right now, and simply wanting the machine for a nice variation in my full body workouts, it’s perfect. If you are simply wanting a small machine at a really economical price point that will simply just let you row and get the job done, this is the machine for you.

Knocking and strap getting stuck FIXEDKnocking and issues with strap not going back in FIXED. I’ve seen a lot of people having the same issue I had. Got it all put together and it was not bad at all, everything went smooth except one of the large screws/posts I had to use a rubber mallet to get it to go in. Once together I hopped on and gave it a pull, insane knocking and then the strap didn’t go back in unless I shook it and kept yanking it. I decided to take the front part(it comes put together) apart and start trying to find the problem. If sitting on the rower, the left side of the wheel and strap mechanism has a few screws and they were rubbing the inside of the welded together mount. It must have taken a blow or two during shipment because there are multiple washers in that area on both sides of the mechanism… The inside washer was knocked inside the left wheel. Hubby used a wrench to maneuver all washers on both sides of the machine mechanism and while I held it in place he put everything back together and we got the casing on and screwed back together and it works perfectly. It’s indeed very quiet once that problem is fixed. I wanted to post pics but I’m not giving amazon access to my pictures and storage just to post one picture. I feel bad seeing so many people say it’s useless to them now after spending the money so I hope this helps some of you!! I wouldn’t say don’t buy this because now that it’s working as intended, I love it. But if I had $1500 to spend I would have gone for something better. It took us three hours total to put together and fix the issue. Original put together took me, at 6 months pregnant, less than an hour and a half and I was watching a movie while doing it. Idk if there’s a way for anyone to message me but if you want pics or more help on how to fix the issue, feel free. Or try to find me on FB and I can try to help if you had the same problem as me.

Assembly and SturdinessThe seat could be a little bit softer

rowing machineits great for a workout. If the bar was longer, I would have given a 5, but the tricep pull is short for anyone over 5’9. Easy to put together and use and store. Resistance levels give a great workout options

Cheap for beginnersYou get what you pay for, I guess. Putting it together would have been easier if:1. The paint hadn’t flaked off the bottom, revealing rusty metal underneath.2. The connection from the seat to the panel, which counts reps and distance, was broken. We tried to fix the connection by rewiring it. The connection worked for 2 days, and now it registers nothing. But I’m a positive person, so–at least we can still change the resistance. I can just use my phone for a timer or not count at all. Maybe I’ll work out more while watching Murder, She Wrote or Psych, which is better than the news or remodeling shows they keep showing at the gym. Those definitely make me count the minutes. The seat isn’t very comfortable, but it’s not bad. It slides easily. Maybe I’ll put a towel on it for padding, see if that makes a difference. It’s mostly my lower back that protests. The pedals are a little far apart for a short person, but it forces me to keep my knees from leaning toward each other and ruining my form.Overall, it’s a good product for a beginner. I have POTS, so I just wanted something to help with cardio to go along with my other physical therapy that keeps my symptoms at bay. My cardiologist said I had to have equipment where I can sit down so I don’t have so far to fall if I pass out. It was this or a Peloton, and I’m not shelling out $2500 for a stationary bike. If I had that much money laying around, I’d go on vacation. If you’re serious about rowing, you’re going to want to look elsewhere.
