Solid watchReally like the watch. Size and weight are really good. It could use improvement on heart rate monitoring though I’ve tried it various ways and while generally accurate, there is some lag, meaning if you go from low intensity to high intensity activity quickly (like doing sprints or going up a steep incline) it doesn’t pick up the change in heart rate immediately. Also, I generally agree with comments about screen brightness that others have noted. Daylight and at night it’s great bit in moderate light not that great. I think part of the problem is that most people have smartphones so we compare the screen brightness of the watch to those and it’s just not the same. It’s more comparable to a Kindle in terms of screen design and brightness. Still, of all the watches I’ve tried, this is the most solid.

Attention black people: This watch does not work with dark skinI’m not entirely surprised that a Scandinavian company didn’t do more product testing across skin types, but this watch is a big miss for melanin in their skin. The heart rate monitor will work for regular reading but can’t find a signal when put in exercise mode. I tried it with a series of friends and if your skin is darker then Michael B Jordan, skip this watch. I’ve had success with watches from Fitbit and Garmin so I think this is just a bad design from Suunto.

Suunto doesn’t sync Workouts from Training PeaksVery disappointed after I realized that you can’t sync your workouts from Training Peaks into Suunto. The after-sale answer is: “you can create them manually”Don’t buy Suunto. Stay with Garmin!

Immediate return – watch crashes during setupNot good. Immediate return. Couldn’t even get watch setup as every time I pressed the bottom right button (required to scroll between setup options) the watch shutdown. Had to reconnect to charger to get it to boot back up.In addition, watch was super dim, but not sure if there is a setting to adjust.Love Suunto but very disappointed.

TERRIBLETERRIBLE!!Very poor product! The watch screen is pathetic. You cannot see it while running and it is unreadable on tree covered trails. The heart rate readings are all over the place and the GPS is constantly disconnecting. Overall a Terrible product.. Sunto is very poor company.

Reloj medio, mala experiencia de marcaEl reloj está muy bien construido, materiales y resistencia, el GPS tiene excelente precisión, el sensor de HR es bueno, no el mejor y a pesar de no ser ligero es muy cómodo. Por lo demás, la batería para nada dura lo que dicen, soy corredor, me dura día y medio o dos días a lo mucho, la pantalla es ridículamente pequeña y de muy mala calidad, pero lo que me ha hecho no recomendarlo es la marca, Suunto en México es casi inexistente, ni su página ni sus redes sociales están activas, además no es un país soportado por ellos, solo a través de los importadores y no hay servicio técnico oficial de ninguno de ellos, la aplicación móvil está lejos de su competencia h considerando que todo debe hacerse ahí (nada en el sitio web) lo hace difícil, algunas funciones dependen de usar conexiones USB a la computadora. El reloj no es bueno ni malo, pero la experiencia de marca te dejará mal parado, por lo menos en México.
