UFC star Zhalgas Zhumagulov has controversially admitted he is a polygamist – and that he has six kids to two separate wives.
The Kazakh fighter joined Dana White’s promotion in 2020 but suffered a first round TKO in his last outing against Angolan Manel Kape.

But the 33-year-old has more than one family to help him get over that defeat, as he shockingly revealed during an interview with the Let Me Interrupt You YouTube channel.
Zhumagulov said: “Yes, I have two wives – two wives and six children.”
Polygamy is the act of marrying multiple spouses, that means having more than one husband or wife at the same time.
The term is the opposite of monogamy which is the more common practice of having just one spouse at any given moment.
The habit was once quite widespread across parts of the globe and is still practiced by some to this day.
But in most countries, polygamy is now illegal or at the very least not officially recognised.

Kazakhstan was one of the nations that it is illegal in after it was banned by Soviet authorities around 100 years ago but it was decriminalised in 1998.
Zhumagulov also said that two wives presented challenges at first but he is ‘used to it’.
He said: “In principle, it’s normal. At first there were challenges but now everything is fine.”
And of those challenges is deciding which one to return to after his UFC fights.
Zhumagulov added: “Well, where did I leave from? If I left, for example, from my second wife, I go to the first. If I left the first, I go to the second. A day here, a day there.”
