IF you’re on a health kick, you know that an egg-white omelette is a great breakfast substitute.

You don’t get any of the fat or cholesterol that the yolk presents, and you can still load it up with veggies and protein.

But separating the yolks from the whites can be tricky, and many of us often drop the ball—literally—when trying to do so.

Luckily, organization expert Carolina McCauley, who goes by @Carolina.McCauley on TikTok, said there’s a tool that makes this process seamless.

In her clip, she revealed that a slotted spoon—which costs less than $7 on Amazon—will do the trick.

You simply place the spoon above the bowl and crack the egg into the spoon.

The slits in the slotted spoon will allow the whites to seep through, but are small enough so that the spoon holds the yolk in place.

The cleaning guru offered two more home hacks in the video.

The next one involved finally cleaning your laundry washing machine dispenser tray. It’s a part we never really think about, but it does collect dust and debris.

All you have to do, Carolina said, is pull the tray out and give it a round in the dishwasher.

While you’re already focused on your laundry room, you’ll want to tackle her third and final tip. It involves cleaning your laundry detergent cap.

These caps often become sticky and messy after a few uses, but Carolina said all you have to do is toss it in the washing machine with a dirty clothes load and voila: it’ll look as good as new.

Viewers were excited to test out the hacks at home:

“I’m trying the washing machine tray in my dishwasher today! Thanks for that tip,” said one.

“How do you just know how to do all of this?! I’m so impressed and intimidated by you,” added another.
